Cym on the way to work

From July 1998 until August 1999 Cym had a usual 9-5 job at a friendly company called the KEY Agency in Amsterdam. Every day she cycled the 7 kilometers on her bike from Amsterdam West through the center of Amsterdam to the 300 year old building beyond the bridge at the Diemerzeedijk in Amsterdam East.

It was during the same time that Cym bought her very first digital camera, an Apple Quicktake. The camera operated on rechargable batteries. With full batteries it was possible to take around 24 photos until the batteries were empty. From October 1998 until August 1999 Cym took her first digital camera a few times with her on the bicycle on the way to work to document the way from home to work.
